Hi! I’m Mrs. Fielder!

My family

My name is Amy Fielder and I am a 2nd grade teacher at Old Town Elementary.  I have taught at Old Town for 7 years now and I’m looking forward to a great year with an awesome new bunch of 2nd graders!

Let me tell you a little bit about myself:  I have taught for 9 years now, all in 2nd and 3rd grade.  I have 3 wonderful children of my own and a brand new step-son!  My children are 16, 14, and 12 and Nathan is 9.  My kids go to Round Rock High School and Walsh Middle School.  We are a very active family, into soccer, cross country, and dance.  My weekends are pretty busy!  I got married this summer to my wonderful husband, Matthew.

I love to teach and have wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl.  I mostly love to watch students learn, and to be a facilitator of that learning! I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together this year in 2nd grade!
